<body><div id="article"><tr><td height="28" valign="middle" width="184"></td><td valign="middle" width="185"></td></tr><h1>Lord Monckton Praises Vatican Climate Conference</h1><p>May 4 (EIRNS) -- Lord Christopher Monckton told EIRNS that the discussions at the April 26-27 Vatican Climate Change Conference were very lively, very open, and that the most powerful presentation given at the conference was by the President of the World Federation of Scientist Antonio Zichichi, whose presentation not only set the tone of the discussions, but made the case that you can't say that global warming is due to human activity.</p><p>Continuing his commenting, Monkton noted that Zichichi also attacked the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's use of computer models to determine how the climate is going to change during the next century. Monckton, realizing that he has a very hard time doing the computations for particle physics using a supercomputer (which has relatively only few factors), pushed the fact that climate modeling requires thousands of factors to be integrated, an almost computational impossibility.</p><p>Lord Monckton finally said that the press would lead you to think that there were only a couple of climate skeptics, but in fact there were quite a few dissenters at the conference and this added to the atmosphere of debate that the Vatican was trying to create and maintain.</p></div></body>
